Rakesh, Rach & I bought tickets to Sentosa on 17th July 2010. But we are unable get to enter Images of Singapore because of late. Therefore, I asked E to go with me on 23rd July 2010. Yet, late again. And we are unable to go too. Since then, we head to Resort World Sentosa a.k.a RWS to take a short walk & visit the place since I've never really get to visit the place. So, E be my tour guide on that evening. Guide me about RWS & intro some of the things that public might not know too. When I step into RWS, it's feels like at Genting. I shall briefly intro about RWS at here.

Our dinner @ Chilli's, RWS. We choosed Rib & Chicken Combo. It's a big portion, suitable for 2 persons. We can't even finish it coz it's too big. Of course, there are many types of restaurant can choose.
Universal's Globe & Hershey's Chocolate World. It's so interesting when walk into Hershey's Choc World. Lots of chocolates especially famous Hershey Kissess. Furthermore, they also offer pictures taken either in syrup bottle or chocolate bar.
Intro Hall of Walk, Lake of Dreams & Casino.
Chihuly & Michael Graves Gallery. Both also architect. Hotel Michael is named after Michael Graves. While, Chihuly is an architect with an eye only.
Hotels at RWS : Festive Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Crockfords Hotel & Hotel Michael. However, Hotel Michael is not in the picture. The most interesting is that Adam & Eve. I'm still doubting Adam & Eve is fat or slim?
Basement view. Kind looks like at Genting Highland. Of course, big difference in weather!

17th July 2010 - My primary schoolmate came to SG to have a short holiday. Although I've been here for more than 2 years, but yet I don't know interesting place to go at SG except bringing him to RWS or Sentosa. Luckily, he agreed to go Sentosa. This tour was great & I had a lot of fun.

First game - Segway Ride.
Left : Skyride ; Right : Luge
We bought tickets to skyride only.
Rakesh, Rach & me on a Skyride. Fearful for me to take this photo because, I'm scare of height & scare my camera will drop.
Some of the views while riding Skyride. The sunset was taken when we took 2nd time of Skyride.
Our 3rd station is to Underwater World. It's totally different from KL. This one has more types of fish and shows too.
Dolphin Show at Underwater World. Luckily, we make it to see this show. Unluckily, we get a sunny seats. The dolphins are clever but too bad, it's a short show.
2 shots that I like most. Left is Dragon fish, one of a kind of seahorse. While right is jellyfish. I'm not sure what type it is. But is damn nice especially with such background.
Although this pic is not that clear but I like it. Coz it has a special effect.
Rakesh & me.
Rach & me. Both name also started with R. This pic taken by Rakesh. Rach complained that no one can hold her camera in proper way.
Me with the Giant spider crab!
Us on the Tiger Sky Tower. Suit for couple because the ambience is quite romantic especially at late evening.
Some of the great views that took from Tiger Sky Tower.
Our tickets of Skyride & unlimited Skyride stamp.
Last but not least, our photo in front of Vivo City before everyone leaves. I feel we are more closer especially with Rakesh 'coz such a long time that never see him since he was 12 years old. Luckily, we still manage to keep our friendship until now. It's more than 10 years friendship. We shall cherish & appreciate it.

This is where we had lunch, Astons Specialities. Ok, intro a bit about this restaurant first. This place is famous with cheap western food and it's located at The Cathay, Dhoby Ghaut. Please don't misunderstand that cheap doesn't mean no good. It's totally opposite! The food is quite nice. Ambience wise, of course can't compare with high class restaurant. But it's suitable for youngsters whereby, it's true that lots of youngsters Q for it.
Rach & I choosed same drink which is IBC Rootbeer. The taste is good also. Not so sweet. Not sure whether other place has it or not.
E's Cream mushroom soup with garlic bread (Left) & my choice of Hickory BBQ Chicken with side dishes, veggie & baked beans (right).
Left - Rach's choice : Prime Sirloin Steak with side dishes of garden salad & onion ring. It's just S$11.90.
Right - E's choice : Chicken spaghetti comes with cream mushroon soup (above) for S$6.50.
After lunch we went for a movie, Knight & Day. This movie is an action comedy. For me & Rach, it's not as what we expected. She expect it's not that kind of good movie but ends up a nice movie. While me, I expect much better than it. Somehow, I will give 3.5 out of 5. Yet, is worth to watch.
75 years for The Cathay. Congratulations!!!!

Another book again! Finally finish it! Yes! Recently, I really addicted to books. But mostly, I prefer those funny yet touching story. It does make me feel nervous to keeps on reading it and wanted to know the end as soon as possible. I do tried to peep on last chapter to know the end. I know, it's meaningless if I do so but I just couldn't wait just like I watch chinese drama.
Ok, briefly go for this book. As mentioned, is written by Sophie Kinsella. I should have started from the beginning of this shopaholic series, but I started off with Shopaholic Ties The Knot which is middle of the series. But I watched this Shopaholic movie, therefore roughly know what is happening.
This book is about Becky met up her long-lost sister, Jess which happened that doesn't love shopping at all. Becky tried to impress her sis by organizing hang out at weekend at her which ended a disaster, I shall say that. At the same time, she has a huge row with her husband that makes her thinks that her marriage going to be over. So, at last, she go to her sis's hometown to ask for help and teach her some of the ways to spend less and to save her marriage too. Something tragedy happened at Jess's hometown...

Tanjung Pinang, Bintan, Indonesia

I just came back from Tanjung Pinang. This place is a town of Bintan. Last few months, I just went to Bintan too but is to the resort. Because I got listened from some of staffs at the resort saying that, Tanjung Pinang is a nice place. Since I have some spare time in this weekend, so I decided to visit this place with E.

Our ferry's ticket - S$100 for 2 persons for return ferry tickets by Penguin. However, compared to previous ferry that I took last time to Bintan Resort, this one is not as comfortable as last time.
Managed to capture some view when we depart from Singapore. Coincidently, airplane is preparing to landing.
Some of the views when we arrive at jetty of Tg. Pinang.
Amused when I see this plate. In Bahasa Melayu, we called it as Lelaki but in Bahasa Indonesia is Pria. Besides that, we called shop as "kedai" in Bahasa Melayu while Bahasa Indonesia is "toko". Toko also means that shop is bigger than kedai which also, more complete. This is what the tour guide told us.
Our lunch time. Left side is nasi goreng nanas while right side is chicken steak. Is weird that eat chicken steak right? No choice, coz sensitive with seafood which the restaurant serves lots of seafood. These all costs Rp 72,000 which means around S$ 11.00. I think is quite cheap.
Cute propping which is made of tree branches. But the strength is quite good!
We managed to get a ride of public transport at Tg. Pinang which is "Angkotan Kota". The driver is ok and won't asking for high price when we sit on. From Ramayana Mall to Pasar (town area) is around Rp3,000 per person. Quite reasonable too because I saw some he also charged same rate. Aren't this kind of car is cute? Especially the door.
In the Angkotan, we managed to take a pic. We also agree that it's quite syok to take this kind of transport.
Street look from "Pasar (town area)" at Tg. Pinang. Is kind of old street but has a lot of things to see. Quite amazing too.
I captured some shops with "cute" name. I realised is usual and a culture of this place.
Ramayana Mall (left) is so called as the largest shopping mall at Tg. Pinang while Bintan Mall (right) is slightly small shopping mall. But what I feel amazed by Bintan Mall is that, motorcycles & cars parking are inside this mall like what I've captured and not a big space car park like M'sia or S'pore.
This is a place that I highly recommended to go when you are at Tg. Pinang. It's a massage centre which of course, is a legal & tradition massage. I took an 2 hours package which consists of Jaquzzi, Massage & Body Scrubs. It's costs Rp310,000 only which is around S$ 50. The service is not bad too.
The thing I most regret is that I can't visit 2 islands nearby Tg. Pinang. One is Penyengat Island (left) and the one is Senggarang Island (right). Penyengat Island is a muslim place that has a lot of mosque while Senggarang Island is a chinese place which has a lot of temples. But the most I wanted to go is Senggarang Island. Not because I'm a chinese but I really wish to see Banyan tree temple which has tree grown into. Quite impressive when I read it at internet.
Last but not least, I got to buy Polo - T at Tg. Pinang. It's very cheap, just Rp399,000 for 2!! It's about S$62.00! Why is cheap? Because the Polo factory is at Indonesia, therefore, it's cheap. Remember that, must buy Polo-T when you're at Indonesia. Just can't miss it!
That's all for my trip at Tg. Pinang. Definitely I'll be back here for another adventure. The people are nice and friendly. Yet helpful too.
